On the heels of releasing their heaviest album yet, The Chariot/Norma Jean offshoot ’68 have announced a tour with a younger chaotic heavy band who takes definite influence from Josh Scogin’s classic work, The Callous Daoboys, as well as Pittsburgh punks The Homeless Gospel Choir. “It has been so long since we have done a proper (full USA) headliner,” Scogin says, “so we are going to do our best to make sure it is the greatest show anyone has ever seen.” Shows begin on March 7 in West Palm, FL, and run through April 6 in Atlanta, GA. See all dates below.
The tour includes a Brooklyn show at Saint Vitus Bar on April 2. Tickets to that and all dates go on sale Friday, January 12 at 10 AM local time.
The Callous Daoboys will also support The Dillinger Escape Plan on two of their NYC reunion shows in June. Pick up exclusive vinyl variants of Celebrity Therapist and Die On Mars in the BV store.
