In 2022, Vancouver metalcore band A Mourning Star released their debut EP To See Your Beauty Fade, a split with Serration, and the single “A World Beyond,” and they revealed at the time that “A World Beyond” was the lead single from their upcoming debut album. Now they’ve announced the album, and it actually also includes all four songs from their EP and their song from the Serration split. It’s called A Reminder Of The Wound Unhealed, and it’s due October 13 via DAZE.
Along with the announcement comes another new single, “Encased In Crystalline.” It’s another great example of A Mourning Star’s ability to tap into late ’90s / early 2000s style metalcore, and you can listen below.
