Alice Cooper has announced additional dates for his Fall 2023 US tour and shared his latest single, “White Line Frankenstein.”
The newly announced dates include a summer tour centered around his support of Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard as well as a one-off headlining gig with Rob Zombie. Most of the new dates follow the latter, starting October 4 in St. Augustine, Florida, and running through October 23 in Paso Robles, California.
Cooper will then reunite with Rob Zombie for three “Halloween Hootenanny” shows, as follows: October 25 (Heights, CA), October 26 (Reno, Nevada) and October 28 (Las Vegas).
Live Nation pre-sales for select dates will begin Thursday (July 20th) at 10am local time via Ticketmaster using the code legend. General ticket sales begin Friday (July 21) at 10am local time. Alternatively, you can check out deals or pick up tickets for sold out shows with StubHub, your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protection Program.
Cooper will be touring in support of his upcoming album, road, released on August 25. The album title pays homage to the shock rock legend’s live band who is currently performing on the album, as well as the various guest musicians.
One cameo comes from “Rage Against the Machine” guitarist Tom Morello, who penned a wild solo on “White Line Frankenstein”—a trucker anthem that fits with the album’s central theme.
“White Line Frankenstein is a monster we created,” Cooper said in a release. “Here’s a truck driver who’s been there for a long time. He’s the king of the road. He doesn’t live in a house. He lives in that truck. In the song, this surreal tough guy has been driving the white line his whole life. So, ‘White Line Frankenstein’ will be his CB handle. It’s a horrible song, definitely a stage song.”
