Allegra Krieger played Union Pool with Kalia Vandever & Canteen Killa (pics)

Allegra Krieger released her great fourth album I Keep My Feet On The Fragile Plane a few weeks ago, and on Saturday night (8/5), she played a hometown show supporting it at Union Pool. She had the room spellbound as she played songs from the new album, first solo and accompanied only by a guitar, and then joined by collaborators, including Kalia Vandever on trombone and Canteen Killa on drums, both of whom played solo sets of their own to open the night. Allegra has shows supporting Hand Habits coming up in September (including NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on September 28), and opens for Angel Olsen and Luke Temple in October. See all dates below.
