Armani Beauty launched Luminous Silk Luminous Blush ($38) earlier this spring. I’m late to try these, but after falling in love with 51 Amore, I picked up more shades, including one of the new colors, 11 Warm Nude, and thought I’d put these on your radar.
Luminous Silk Glow is a soft and natural looking blush with a silky texture. If you’re looking for an easy-to-apply, natural-looking blush with good-to-medium coverage, these are the ones to check out! The powder has a finely milled texture which allows it to blend right into the skin.
The staying power is pretty good (I generally prefer powder blushes). I now have 5 shades and they all perform really well.
- 11 In Love/Warm Nude is a neutral nude beige, on me it’s more neutral-cool
- 30 Offbeat is a bright apricot matte
- 50 Euphoric is a golden pink, on my skin tone it looks more like a highlighter, but if I layer it over another blush or cream blush, the pink undertone shows more
- 51 Amore is the perfect rose pink
- 52 Ecstasy is a beautiful cool hot pink
My favorite is 51 Amore. I also like to layer them together. 30 and 50 layers of peach are very beautiful.
If I had tried all of them myself before ordering, I might have skipped 11. I think it works well on lighter or cooler skin tones. It’s a little too neutral for my medium tan olive skin. I prefer Laura Mercier Fresco or Charlotte Tilbury First Love’s perfect neutral blush (suitable for my skin tone).
The makeup below is coordinated with the lip color. For base, I use Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, Concealer and Setting Powder in shade 6.5.

Armani also mentioned some. I still really like the Luminous Silk Foundation formula. Every time I use it, I’m amazed by how smooth and naturally radiant this primer makes my skin look. I am using shade 6.5. Luminous Silk Concealer is one of the best full coverage concealers I have ever used. I also use Shade 6.5, which is a bit lighter than foundation, so it’s great for brightening the complexion. The Luminous Satin Finishing Powder is another favorite. It’s a glowing powder, but not too glowy all over the face. However, if you’re not into all over glow or shimmer, then it might be too much for you, in which case I recommend trying Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Pressed Powder or Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Powder (my 2 Holy Grail Setting Pressed Powder) for now).
It’s also been a while since I reviewed Lip Power lipsticks and I don’t think I’ve ever tried all the shades, so here is the lineup I have. They’re creamy, full-coverage, comfortable and have great staying power.
I wear shades 103 and 109 most often. I think these are the most wearable and flattering. They’re also the ones I hear the most “what’s on your lips?” The problem. Shade 107 is a newer shade that is a bit too dark for my skin tone. If you like brown shades from the 90s, I think you’ll love this. For me, I’ll probably save it for fall and winter.
Most of all, love the Luminous Silk Gloss Blush. I wish they had more colors available, but I like what they have now.
