One of the most anticipated performances by ARMY in recent times is BTS’s stage at Global Citizen. Recently, BTS had an impressive performance with Permission To Dance and Butter at this show. Even so, many ARMYs are feeling quite uncomfortable when the image of Jimin in Butter performance is not fully illuminated.
Recently BTS completed their performance in front of millions of auďïệnce of Global Citizens. BTS performed two stages, Permission To Dance and Butter, at one of the most attractive shows in äṃệŕïċä every year. ARMY has also been looking forward to the 7 boys’ performance for many hours. The Permission To Dance performance was live on the YouTube platform at that time, but the Butter performance was replayed on BBC.
When ARMYs watched the Butter performance, they noticed that the dance break in Butter was always underexposed in Jimin’s area. Specifically in Butter’s dance break, Jimin stands in the far right corner, and the light is not shining so he almost does not appear in the frame.
ARMYs were quite upset about this and asked Big Hit to pay attention to the lighting during Butter performances for Jimin. Paying attention to the direction of the light in the performance is extremely important because it is the professionalism of the performance and the staff and the company are responsible for the lighting in the artist’s performance. Many ARMYs even expressed anger that Jimin is always in the dark during Butter’s performances and that’s unacceptable.
This is not the first time the lack of light when Jimin performed Butter has occurred. Previously, during the Butter performance at the Billboard Music Awards or on the stage of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimin also often disappeared during Butter’s dance break because the light did not reach Jimin’s position
Many ARMYs also noticed that, in the My Universe stage in Global Citizen, he didn’t got the focus cam even for one second every one else got it. He wasn’t even included properly in the cam. We can barely see him.
ARMYs expressed that Jimin as well as the other members put in a lot of effort to deliver performances on stage. ARMYs also want to enjoy a performance where all the members can be clearly seen in the frame, which is essential and the responsibility lies with the staff. ARMY is also trending the hashtag #RespectJIMIN and tagging HYBE’s Twitter account about this in the hope that they will correct the mistake in their next performances.
