Big Thief have shared a new single titled “Born for Loving You.” Stream it below.
An intimate declaration of love, “Born for Loving You” has a laidback country vibe and sees Adrianne Lenker plainly describing an idyllic romance. “From the first kiss to the first fuck,” she sings. “I don’t think it’s just good luck/ Take me to the back of your pick-up truck.”
“Born for Loving You” will be released as a 7-inch vinyl single alongside fan favorite “Vampire Empire,” out October 20th via 4AD. Pre-orders are ongoing.
“Vampire Empire” was a live staple before Big Thief debuted it on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in March. This summer, they released the official studio version of the track, earning Song of the Week honors in the process.
