So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. J NOA – “SPICY”
J Noa, the 17-year-old Dominican rapper who’s been nicknamed “the daughter of rap,” released her acclaimed Autodidacta (which translates to “self-taught”) EP earlier this year, and now she keeps the momentum going with the hard-hitting new single “Spicy.”

BONNIE ‘PRINCE’ BILLY – “KEEPING SECRETS WILL DESTROY YOU”
Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy released new album Keeping Secrets Will Destroy You earlier this year but the song of the same did not make the record. It’s out now though and unike the album this is a full-band recording, featuring Shahzad Ismaily, Emmett Kelly, Jim Keltner and Blake Mills, and along with the vocal talents of Lacey Guthrie, Katie Peabody and Heather Summers.

LAST WISHES – “UP IN SMOKE”
UK metallic hardcore Last Wishes are back with some new heat.

DOWSING – “SIMPLE PROJECTIONS”
Chicago emo band Dowsing‘s fifth album No One Said This Would Be Easy comes out next week (12/1) via Asian Man Records and Evan Weiss’ Storm Chasers LTD, and here’s second single “Simple Projections.” Read more here.

O. – “ATM”
London-based duo O. release their debut EP, SLICE, this Friday (11/24) via Speedy WUnderground. They recorded it live with DAn Carey, and the latest single is “ATM,” which is they say “is us getting angry and frustrated about some of the injustices and crazy bewildering things in the world. It’s a tune to celebrate fury, going on a journey releasing your anger then coming to a place of peace. We love seeing people getting their anger out to it live.”
