Boris and Coaltar of the Deepers are both Japanese bands who mix metal and shoegaze in various ways, and now they’re releasing a split LP with new original material as well as each band covering each other. Both covers are out now, Coaltar of the Deepers’ cover of Boris’ “Melody” and Boris’ cover of Coaltar of the Deepers’ “Serial Tear.” Check out both below.
