Chanel has launched a limited edition collection of colorful accessories in the Codes Couleur collection. The items launched on Friday and sold out online almost immediately. I shared some stories on Instagram on Friday and some of you ordered them before they sold out! I ordered some online as soon as they came out and they arrived quickly so I could try them out over the weekend. Color comes into play here.
The Les Pinceaux de Chanel Brush Trio ($160), Mirror Duo Compact ($42) and Limited Edition Nail File ($30) are available in nine shades.
Onvi, Cavalier Seul, Premiere Dame, Diva, and Rouge Noir are available at Chanel beauty boutiques, so they might still be in stock if they’re near you. Additional colors Ballerina, Immortelle, Fugueuse, Incendiarie are available exclusively online. Don’t know if they will restock now. I hope they consider bringing these out again, because the matching set is really cute!
Each Les Pinceaux de Chanel brush set of three contains the same brushes, the only difference being the color of the casing. I really love the Chanel beauty brushes that I own. I’ve bought quite a few over the years each time they refurbished and all but 1 have held up really well (one of them broke, but that was after owning it for many years).
The brushes in the brush set seem to be of the same quality as the individual brushes:
- 2-in-1 Foundation Brush and Loose Powder Brush 101 (angled, love using it for bronzer)
- Blush brush 110 (wide, fluffy, fan-shaped)
- Retractable double-ended eye shadow brush 200 (double-ended soft)
The limited edition mirror case is in the same style as the classic black and white double-sided mirror. One side is a regular mirror and the other side has a magnification option.
The nail file is made of etched glass, so pretty! Here are the colors I’m pulling:
