Charli XCX‘s sixth album is on the way; in a message on social media on Wednesday (2/28), she said that Brat is due out this summer, has 15 songs, and is 41:23 long. Last week, she’d written, “i was born to make dance music.. i came from the clubs.. xcx6 is the album i’ve always wanted to make.” Stay tuned for more details.
She’s now shared the first single, “Von Dutch,” a stylized dance track that was produced by EASYFUN. The accompanying video was directed by Torso and filmed at France’s Charles de Gaulle Airport, and you can watch it below.
Charli previewed “Von Dutch” and another new song, “365,” at a recent Brooklyn Boiler Room event, and she also features on collaborator A.G. Cook’s new single, “Britpop.”
