CHRISTINE & THE QUEENS
Christine and the Queens have canceled the remainder of their 2023 tour, as “Red (aka Christine and the Queens) was taken ill today and on advice of doctors forced to make the difficult decision to cancel all remaining tour dates for 2023.” Dates included a 10/21 show at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom. Feel better, Red!
LIAM GALLAGHER ‘DEFINITELY MAYBE’ TOUR
Oasis may not be getting back together, but that’s not stopping Liam Gallagher from celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut album. Today Liam announced the ‘Definitely Maybe 30 Years’ tour, where he will play the album in full with “select b-sides from the era.”
BARRY MANILOW
Barry Manilow played five sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall earlier this year and he’s gonna do it again in 2024, playing April 17-21. He’s also got EU dates, a Vegas residency and more.
CODE ORANGE
Code Orange released their new album, The Above, last month (pick up our exclusive transparent ochre variant), and they’ve announced a 2024 tour supporting it. The North American dates begin in Austin on February 13 and run through March 17 in Los Angeles. Teenage Wrist, Soul Blind, Spy, Gridiron, and one more band TBA each open select shows.
MALI VELASQUEZ OPENING FOR A. SAVAGE & MORE
Mali Velasquez, who released her debut album I’m Green last week, will join Parquet Courts’ A. Savage on 2024 West Coast / Southwest dates. Before that she’s got a couple hometown Nashville shows this fall as well; head here for all dates.
Meanwhile, A. Savage’s fall tour with Sluice starts soon and includes a show at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on November 11.
PETE DAVIDSON
Pete Davidson has been on a stand-up tour throughout the fall, and he’s added a bunch of shows in November and December, including in NYC, Buffalo, Albany, Huntington, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington DC, Madison, and more.
HAILU MERGIA
Ethiopian musician Hailu Mergia has announced a one-off NYC show at Elsewhere Hall on December 9 with Quelle Chris. He’s currently on tour in the UK and all dates are here.
YOSHIKI (X JAPAN)
X Japan’s Yoshiki brings his Classical 10th Anniversary World Tour, where he’s playing with an orchestra, to the US this month for shows in Los Angeles (Dolby Theatre on 10/20) and NYC (Carnegie Hall on 10/28).
TED HEARNE – “DOROTHEA”
Composer, vocalist, and conductor Ted Hearne has worked with artists like Erykah Badu, J.G. Thirlwell, Timo Andres, Roomful of Teeth, Saul Williams, Gabriel Kahane, Zeena Parkins, M83, and more. His project Dorothea (named after poet Dorothea Lasky, whose work it features) will make its NY premiere this month. It was co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall, and also features vocalist and electronic artist Eliza Bagg.
