CMAT, aka Irish singer-songwriter Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, released her second album, Crazymad, for Me, back in October; she made it with Bonny Light Horseman‘s Joshua Kaufman, and it features John Grant on “Where Are Your Kids Tonight?” The album made end-of-year lists from Yard Act and Kneecap, who said “CMAT is soon to be global star – she’s irresistible live and this album takes her to a new level. It’s pop at its very very best.” You can watch a few videos from the album below.
You can catch CMAT’s irresistible live show for yourself on her spring tour. She’s just added a few dates, including a second NYC show: Bowery Ballroom on April 10, which follows her show at Music Hall of Williamsburg April 9. There was also a second Seattle date added, and that and the Bowery show go on sale Friday, January 12 at 10 AM local time. All dates are listed below.
