SLAUGHTER BEACH, DOG
Slaughter Beach, Dog’s Jake Ewald has announced a solo tour taking place for most of April. Dates wrap up at Woodstock, NY’s Levon Helm Studios on 4/28. He’ll also be out with the full band before that, and all dates are here.
RIOT FEST 2024
Riot Fest has announced its 2024 dates, which happen a little later than usual, as well as a presale.
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN
The Dillinger Escape plan are now up to three NYC reunion shows.
CODEINE / DUSTER
Slowcore icons Codeine are taking their reunion into 2024 with a few March dates, including Chicago and Detroit, and then they’ll cross the border for Toronto and Montreal shows with Duster.
AUSTIN PSYCH FEST
Austin Psych Fest has announced its 2024 edition, which happens in the spring and is not to be confused with its larger sister fest Levitation, which happens in the fall. The lineup includes Alvvays, Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile and a whole lot of Witch bands.
ORIGAMI ANGEL
Origami Angel have announced a short spring tour that has them out with Magazine Beach and Equipment. Stops include Richmond, DC, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Albany, Indianapolis and Detroit.
ARM’S LENGTH
Ontario emo band Arm’s Length have announced their first headlining tour, and it’s with a great lineup all around of current emo. Billed as ‘The Wax Bodega Tour,’ it features the band’s Wax Bodega labelmates Carly Cosgrove and Ben Quad, as well as No Sleep’s Saturdays At Your Place.
JERRY HARRISON & ADRIAN BELEW – REMAIN IN LIGHT
For those hoping that Talking Heads would announce a reunion tour since they started being able to be in the same room together again, there’s been no word of that. However, Heads guitarist/keyboardist Jerry Harrison and ancillary member Adrian Belew have announced more dates of their Remain in Light tour where they’re playing the band’s classic fourth album in full.
BLACK COUNTRY, NEW ROAD
UK group Black Country, New Road will be back in North America this spring.
DAMIAN AND STEPHEN MARLEY
Reggae stars Damian and Stephen Marley will team up for a co-headlining tour called Traffic Jam 2024, happening in February and March. The tour hits NYC on March 27 at Brooklyn Paramount (which opens this spring).
INSOMNIUM
Finnish melodic death metal vets Insomnium will join forces with Omnium Gatherum and Wilderun for a month-long spring North American tour. Dates begin in the Boston area on April 11 and wrap up in NYC at Gramercy Theatre on May 11.
TINA FEY & AMY POEHLER
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler keep adding shows to their ongoing “Restless Leg Tour,” which sees the best buds and former SNL Weekend Update co-anchors “celebrate their thirty years of friendship with an evening of jokes, iconic stories and conversational entertainment.” They’re now up to 10 in NYC.
SETH HERZOG’S SWEET XMAS
Seth Herzog will host the 2023 holiday edition of his long-running SWEET comedy show on Tuesday, December 19 at Chelsea Music Hall. Among the guests bringing joy and good cheer are David Krumholtz, SNL’s Alex Moffat, Dylan Baker (Happiness, Planes Trains & Automobiles), Anna Roisman, and more.
