Last year, Danny Wimmer Presents (Aftershock, Sonic Temple, Bourbon & Beyond, etc) launched a new country music festival in Sacramento, GoldenSky Festival, and it returns for its second year this fall, on October 14 & 15 in Discovery Park, the same location that hosts the hard rock/metal-oriented Aftershock festival two weeks earlier. Set times were just announced.
The headliners are Maren Morris and Sacramento’s own Jon Pardi on day one, and Eric Church and Parker McCollum on day two, and the lineup also includes Lainey Wilson, Wynonna Judd, Jordan Davis, Eli Young Band, Ingrid Andress, Niko Moon, Nate Smith, Tenille Arts, Kidd G, Willie Jones, and more. Full lineup and set times below. Tickets are on sale now.
GoldenSky also includes a beer festival with tastings of over 150 different selections of beer, hard seltzer, and ciders each day (for an add-on starting at $15 + fees), and other on-site experiences include local food at The Farmhouse, local retailers at El Dorado Market, dancing at the River City Saloon & Dance Hall, local wine at Wines of Sacramento, cannabis at Loud Lounge, and televised sports at the Sidelines Sports Bar.
