Denzel Curry is back with new single “Blood on My Nikez,” his first single of 2023.
Produced by Mathaius Young, Dilip, Otxhello and Ambezza, “Blood on My Nikez” marks the return of Curry’s dark side. Over an ominous instrumental track, he raps about his rise — despite some casualties along the way. But he’s learned to hide his savage tendencies: “Leave a trail full of dead liars/Contrary to snakes, you’re the kind that the FBI will see,” he raps, cleaning “the blood on my Nikes” to hide the evidence.
The single also comes with an equally creepy music video directed by Omar Jones. Watch and play the songs below.
While “Blood on My Nikez” is Curry’s first single this year as lead vocalist, he did give Armani White a helping hand on January’s “GOATED.”his most recent album was last year melt my eyes to see your future, He will be at the Hopscotch Festival this September in Raleigh, North Carolina.
