Shoegaze vets Drop Nineteens have shared a video for “Tarantula,” the standout track from their excellent 2023 comeback album, Hard Light. Directed by Jack Charles, the video mixes footage of the band playing at Cambridge, MA’s Rare Signals studio, where the album was mixed, with other trippy footage, appropriately including a few arachnids. Drop Nineteens will be on tour in April and they’ve just announced the opening acts: Greg Mendez will join in DC, Boston, and Brooklyn (Warsaw on 4/20); Hotline TNT open in Philly; and Winter join the band in Oakland and L.A., ahead of their appearance at Sick New World festival.
