UPDATE: Electric Zoo delays doors for day 2 of 2023 edition.
After cancelling the first day of their 2023 edition hours before doors were set to open, NYC EDM festival Electric Zoo has given an update on day two, today (9/2). They say that the festival will happen, but doors will be delayed from their original scheduled time of 1 PM, to 3 PM. A message from organizers reads:
Dear Electric Zoo Family,
First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and understanding in the face of yesterday’s unexpected challenges. Your patience and dedication mean the world to us, and we cannot thank you enough for being part of this incredible community.
We are thrilled to announce that we’re opening the festival doors today, but will need to do this two hours later than initially planned, at 3pm. We are excited to share this beautiful day with each and every one of you. Mother Nature has blessed us with perfect weather, and we’re ready to make up for lost time with an unforgettable two days and nights ahead.
We understand that yesterday’s delay has been disappointing, but rest assured that our production team has been working tirelessly to ensure that everything is in place for an extraordinary experience. Your safety, enjoyment, and the quality of our festival are our top priorities.
As we come together once again to celebrate music, art, and the spirit of togetherness, let’s make the rest of the weekend even more special and show the world what makes our community so unique – our resilience, positivity, and boundless energy. Together, we’ll turn this setback into a memorable comeback!
Please stay tuned for updates throughout the day, including any additional details about performances, schedules, and activities. Your favorite artists are ready to give you the performances of a lifetime, and we can’t wait to dance, sing, and create lasting memories with you all.
Thank you for being part of the Electric Zoo family!
