Long-running Montreal psych band Elephant Stone have announced Back Into the Dream, their sixth album, which will be out February 23 via Elephants on Parade. The band produced it themselves and founder Rishi Dir says it aims to “bridge the gap between the known and the unknown.”
The new single from the album is “The Spark,” which Dir says is his tribute to the art of songwriting. “Crafting a song is like tapping into a kind of magic that exists beyond the realm of the ordinary,” says Dir. “I’m in perpetual pursuit of that elusive sensation—the spark that turns fleeting thoughts into something immortal…it’s about that serendipitous moment when time and space align, allowing you to capture lightning in a bottle.” You can watch the video for “The Spark” below.
