The last few days at Manchester United have been filled with chaos as it concerns situations happening both on and off the field.
The latest situation at the club is the case between Jadon Sancho and his manager, Erik Ten Hag. Manchester United board confirmed in a statement that the England international has been asked to train away from the first team after he took a jab at the Dutchman on social media after the game against Arsenal.
Ten Hag reacted to the situation at his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend’s game against Brighton on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
He said,
“I think everything is said on that case. So the squad is strong, in good spirits and good mood going into the game. Strict lines is what the club asked me because there was no good culture before last season. So it’s important to set good standards, that is what I did and it is my job to control the standards. Team is above everything.”
The club will also be without Antony who has been asked to stay away from the club pending when the allegations against him are sorted.
