Explosions in the Sky released their first new album in seven years, End, earlier this month, and they’re on tour supporting it, with a Brooklyn show on October 5 at Kings Theatre. While they’re in NYC, they’ve added two intimate shows performing their 2003 album The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place in full, at Bowery Ballroom on October 7 and 8. Ticket requests are open now through Wednesday, September 27 at 12 PM ET, and you can find more details about the process here.
“Hello New York,” EITS write. “A couple of days after our King’s Theater show in Brooklyn we’re gonna step back into the Bowery Ballroom for a two night special. It’s been a long time since we’ve played there, so will be a comforting return. We’ll be playing The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place. Start to finish. Come be with us. It’ll feel like old times.”
