Faye Webster‘s fall tour just stopped in NYC for three sold-out shows at Brooklyn Steel, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (10/23-10/25). We went to Wednesday night’s show, which was packed with fans singing along and hanging onto her every word. Most of the setlist came from 2021’s I Know I’m Funny Haha and 2019’s Atlanta Millionaires Club, and she also played her two most recent singles, “But Not Kiss” and “Lifetime.” She also included an unreleased song that she’s played a few times so far on this tour, “Wilco Type Beat.” See her setlist below.
Atlanta punks Upchuck opened all three Brooklyn Steel shows. They just released their new Ty Segall-produced album, Bite the Hand That Feeds, and they delivered a fun set, bringing Faye out for a couple of songs to join them; members of the band joined Faye towards the end of her set, as well.
