Dover, DE festival Firefly held its most recent edition in 2022; it took 2023 off, saying at the time (in October of 2022) that it would be back in 2024, but as many have guessed, that won’t be happening. They’ve now confirmed that there will be no 2024 edition of Firefly. A message on the festival social media reads, “Firefly Music Festival will not return in 2024. We look forward to powering Firefly’s lights back on someday when the timing is right, but until then, The Woodlands will continue to host new music events for years to come. Keep on dancing, fam.”
For this summer, the new music event headed to The Woodlands is Phish’s Mondegreen festival, the first multi-night camping festival the band has thrown since 2015.
