Five managers have been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month for September 2023 following their club’s impressive performance.
The body announced this on its official website on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta is one of the favourites for the award following the Gunners unbeaten run since the start of the 2023/24 season.
Tottenham’s head coach, Ange Postecoglou will be looking to win the award back to back, a feat only a few persons have attained in the history of the Premier League. The Australian is also unbeaten in the league this season with three wins and a draw in September, getting four points from back-to-back matches against Arsenal and Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp could win the award following his run for Liverpool having scored three goals in three consecutive matches, with a win over Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United and a controversial defeat against Tottenham.
Eddie Howe and Unai Emery complete the five-man shortlist, and the manager with the highest votes will be declared the with of the award.
