Former Chelsea manager, Graham Potter has been linked with a job in the French league just five months after he was sacked by the Blues.
The Daily Mail confirmed that Graham Potter is linked with the Ligue 1 side, Lyon but the Englishman rejected the offer stating that it is too early for him. The 48-year-old was sacked by Chelsea in April 2023 after less than seven months in charge, because of his poor form at Stamford Bridge following a highly successful three-year stint at Brighton.
The current manager of Lyon, Laurent Blanc is under huge pressure, as the club is currently bottom of the league after picking up just one point from their first four games and he is expected to be sacked following their 4-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain last weekend.
There are reports that Potter was offered the chance to replace Blanc but he declined the offer as he ‘does not feel it is the right time to return to coaching. However, this means that Lyon will have to look elsewhere for a possible replacement before things get worse for the club.
