On December 31, the representative of Green Umbrella Foundation – President Lee Je-hoon announced that j-hope has donated 100 million KRW ($84,000 USD) to children from disadvantaged groups in ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a. . It is known that Green Umbrella Children’s Organization is an organization that advocates for disadvantaged children. This donation will be used to cover heating costs for children from low-income families and childcare facilities as well as medical expenses for ѕι¢к children.
Sharing about donating this amount of money for children, j-hope said: “I was worried that children suffering economically during the Covid-19 pandemic would have a double whammy and go through a cold and lonely winter. I hope this donation will help children have a warmer winter.”
Since 2018, j-hope has been named in the ‘Green Noble Club’, starting with donating 150 million KRW to sick children and children in general and from this to now, he has supported a total of 800 million KRW for children at home and abroad. The ‘Green Noble Club’ is a group of key sponsors of the Green Umbrella Foundation. This has helped many disadvantaged children and children in general have a better life.
