Emerging electronics artist Babychaos has released the video for her latest single, “Guilty Hands (I Bleed),” which premieres exclusively via serious consequences as part of Industry Week.
In the style of contemporaries like Poppy, Babychaos blended harsh electronics with overt industrial rock/metal elements such as distorted guitars and vocals. “Guilty Hands (I Bleed),” for example, blends burgeoning guitar riffs with subtle electronic flourishes, resulting in a shockingly loud and soft arrangement and unsettling atmosphere.
Babychaos said of the concept behind the song: “The story behind ‘Guilty Hands’ is a story I’ve held onto for years, and now it’s finally realised, and out of my system for good. Throughout 2022, I’ve found myself writing constantly as a way to deal with events in my life that I can’t control.”
She continued: “I found through experience that when we feel that we can’t control some aspects of life, we will resort to the need to control other aspects. Sometimes we will be inspired by this song and video. Thank you for the music producer Enrico Tiberi. The influence of this song has been created. Through music video producer Joey Durango, we can turn these visual effects into reality. “
Babychaos has continued to make waves since releasing its debut single “Flesh” in 2021, with the single having more than 2 million streams on Spotify. A debut EP is in the works, with “Guilty Hands (I Bleed)” serving as the first teaser for the upcoming album.
