Born in Japan and raised in the Philippines, singer-songwriter/guitarist DURAN started playing the piano at the age of three and picked up the guitar at 14 under the influence of his bassist father.
Regarded as a prodigy in the contemporary rock scene and recognized as one of Japan’s great guitarists, he arrests the attention of his audience with formidable fuzz and emotionally charged guitar playing/vocals.
In 2018, DURAN made his solo debut. In 2021 he released Kaleido Garden, the tour concluding with great success. 2023 saw the release of Electric Man, and the upcoming 30 Scratchy Backroad Blues is slated for February 21, 2024.
