London-based pop and visual artist Hannah Dimaond has announced her sophomore album, Perfect Picture, due out October 6 via PC Music. It was produced by David Gamson, and it includes her recent single “Affirmations.” “This album is more focused on who I am on the inside, a multi layered self portrait,” she says. “I’m the girl you already know but grown up. I’m more self assured and exploring my dreams.”
She’s shared the title track, a sleek pop song accompanied by a single-shot video directed by Christopher Tym. “Pop music is this magical form of communication to me,” Hannah says. “It has the power to transform ephemeral things into tangible worlds and help it take on other forms and become expansive. That’s why ‘Perfect Picture’ became the album title track. It really does feel like it captures me. Not just one side of me but all the many layers that make up who I am at my core.”
Hannah is going on her first ever headlining North American tour this fall, including sold out NYC shows at Elsewhere Zone One on October 14 and 15. See all dates below.
