Connecticut metalcore giants Hatebreed will celebrate their 30th anniversary with their biggest home state show ever, a Sunday matinee at Toyota Oakdale Theatre on March 17. The lineup has a handful of other Connecticut bands (100 Demons, With Honor, Shadow of Intent, Dead by Wednesday), plus fellow metalcore veterans Shadows Fall and Sworn Enemy, along with Eyes of the Living and DemonScar.
“This is a throwback to the old hardcore/metal matinees we used to play in the mid ’90s,” says vocalist Jamey Jasta. He also adds, “It will be a yearly event going forward as we’ll also be bringing back the March Metal Meltdown Festival to NJ in 2025.”
Tickets go on sale Friday (1/26) at 7 AM and presales are underway now.
Hatebreed are also playing LDB Fest and the Jamey Jasta-resurrected Milwaukee Metalfest.
Last week Hatebreed celebrated their 30th anniversary with a four-night residency in Long Island that doubled as the special, final pre-renovation shows at Amityville Music Hall. Openers included Johnny Booth, Internal Bleeding, Tension & Long Island hardcore band of the moment Pain of Truth who made for the perfect final show opener.
