Summer is coming to an end (*cries), which means shorter days, longer nights, and more time spent at home. For many of us, the transition between seasons can be a bit of a contradiction. On the one hand, we grieve over those long summer days spent in the sun, delicious food and drink with those closest to us. But on the other hand, I personally also look forward to a rainy day, spent indoors, sipping my favorite tea, and snuggling up on the couch with Effie. Can you relate?
I heard about this Danish word hygge and it got me really excited for fall and getting my space ready for September. Hygge is a mood that evokes a sense of comfort. It’s about creating a warm vibe that makes you feel safe and content, which is the perfect vibe for fall!
