…I promise this will help
They say you are what you eat, if that’s true I’m a fashion stylist in New York Alison Bernstein, because when I tell you I’ve swiped her content.I’ve seen all of her movies youtube video and is her paid subscriber Immunohistochemistry.like obsessed with the next level. If you’re having trouble with fashion then I highly recommend you do the same, as this is basically a master class in how to get the most out of your wardrobe and how to actually have fun getting dressed in the morning. I’m used to doing the same thing every morning – sometimes my days are filled with light games and being a personal chef for a little guy that doesn’t require an Instagram-worthy outfit – but since watching her videos Finally, I have to say that I’ve worn some absolutely perfect outfits for soft playing. do you know?I think Astonishing for it.
First step for me, (other than watching alison video), is to have a small closet for spring cleaning. In any case, this wasn’t a major tidying job, more like a tidying up.A chance to reorganize and make sure everything in my closet is ready to function – check it out video here. The biggest bonus is that I have a ton of stuff for my tailor to modify. There are a lot of pants I don’t wear because they drag on the floor, and as soon as it’s actually done, I have five more pants in my cycle.
Next up – the mood board. I’ve made boards before, but this time I feel like I’ve really honed my skills and the boards I’ve made have become part of my morning routine. Here’s how I do it…
Start with a theme. I realized that when I’m getting ready in the morning, I really only have two modes — a “casual” mode for when I’m working from home or spending the day with the kids. It’s simple, I want comfort and I don’t need any elements of my outfit to stand out. The second is “polish,” which is my meeting/shoot/event mode. I’m sure I’m rarely in this mode, but when I am, I want to feel more united and formal. Keeping these two themes in mind before starting to search for images meant I was able to easily sort them into one of my two possible mood boards – I knew what I was looking for.
Screen grabs everything. before i use interest As my primary source of image search, it’s also my most-used tool this time around.I did however screenshot everything, whether from Instagram or Tik Tok. interest Can sometimes give you the same image 1890 times, so it’s good to have a more comprehensive image diet this time around.
It doesn’t need to be pretty. I used to think that mood boards had to be picture perfect – like a page in a magazine. If you have the skills in this area, then FAB is very good. Go for it. This time around, however, I wasn’t too obsessed with the way it looked in particular.I’m more interested in the clothing formula itself, so I don’t really care too much if the image is a screenshot from Tik Tok There is text on the screen. Better to have images and text than nothing. inspiring? Yes. But is it perfect? No.
Make the most of it. Might be a good idea to print it out? Or save it as your phone background?I bookmark my mood boards to easily find them on my phone and add them to my Style page concept also. Once I did that, I did my own fitting, which you’ll see in Sunday’s video.Try on, take photos, add clothing formulas Willing Usually just having a good time. It really helped me to really use that inspiration instead of treating it as a fun activity that ends up being wasted.
So here’s the plank–‘random‘ and ‘polished‘. I figured I’d put them here so you can save them to whatever device you want, make them your screensaver, edit them yourself – Do whatever you want!
