Ian Sweet has a new album, Sucker, on the way this fall, and she’s announced a series of release shows for it, happening in London (Hackney Church on November 9), NYC (Bowery Ballroom on November 12), Chicago (Empty Bottle on November 14), and Los Angeles (Zebulon on November 17). Tickets go on sale Friday, August 25 at 10 AM.
Ahead of those dates, Ian Sweet stopped in NYC on Tuesday night (8/22) for a show at Elsewhere Rooftop. Her set featured songs from the new album (including recent single “Your Spit” and unreleased track “Emergency Contact,” as well as her cover of Coldplay’s “Yellow.”
Austin’s Why Bonnie co-headlined, and they also included new material in their set, from an album they are currently working on. It was a beautiful evening to be out on the roof, and you can see pictures from the show below.
