In an interview on the Adesope Live afrobeats podcast, Ice Prince says a ‘Choc Boy’ album is coming.
Ice Prince spread a wildfire of anticipation on the internet with his statements in a recent interview. In his interview with Adesope Olajide of the Afrobeats Podcast, Ice Prince revealed that he, M.I., and Jesse Jagz have already recorded their songs for an unreleased album. He claims the album is 70% complete and they need to put it out. The interviewer mentioned that M.I.’s perfectionism will probably hold back the release of the album.

Ice Prince has been making a comeback to the forefront of the Nigerian music scene. After an extended time away, the much loved rapper is coming back with his best bars.
In the same interview, Ice Prince also stresses the need for more collaboration and less comparison among Black artists. He is of the opinion that as long as the artists are black, their music comes from the same parent. In this case, there is no need to foster beef between genres or regional music.
