Interpol closed out their 2023 touring schedule with two hometown shows at Beacon Theatre, a tony venue perfect for a dark, elegant indie rock band that has favored suits to jeans since day one. Setlists were similar but not identical, each devoting about half the set to the band’s first two, most loved albums. Night 2 got a brief jolt of excitement when a woman rushed the stage during “My Desire,” but was escorted offstage by security before she reached frontman Paul Banks. Been Stellar opened Night 1, while Model/Actriz opened Night 2.
