Iron & Wine (aka Sam Beam) has shared the Fiona Apple duet from his upcoming album Light Verse, “All In Good Time.” Sam calls Fiona’s voice a “miracle that sounds like both a sacrifice and a weapon at the same time,” and she makes a stirring pair with Sam’s more mellow delivery. It’s a bluesy piano ballad that passes down seasoned wisdom, and you can hear it below.
Iron & Wine will celebrate the new album on a summer tour that hits NYC on August 14 at Brooklyn Paramount. All dates are listed below.
The Josh Sliffe-directed Iron & Wine film Who Can See Forever, A Portrait of Iron & Wine is also being shown in North American theaters this month and next. All theaters and viewings (including Orpheum Theatre on March 25 in Saugerties, NY) here.
Light Verse comes out April 26 via Sub Pop.
