Jawbox’s J. Robbins is a constantly-busy guy, and this year was no exception. Whether he was touring with Braid or Soulside, contributing a cover to the new Naked Raygun tribute LP, or producing records for the likes of Truth Cult, The Dismemberment Plan offshoot Milliseconds, or Saetia/Helmet offshoot Attempt Survivors, he was always up to something. He plays his last show of the year this Friday (12/1) at Pie Shop in DC with Milliseconds, and now, he’s shared with us a list of his 10 favorite things of 2023.
His list includes a mix of albums, movies, live shows, a podcast, a book, and more, and here it is:
Weird Studies (podcast)
Anything involving Rodney Ascher (film director)
