Wilco has announced details of the 2024 edition of their Solid Sound Festival, which happens June 28-30 at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA. Tickets are on sale now. The band will perform multiple sets across the three days (as will Jeff Tweedy and other members of the group), and the rest of the lineup includes Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Dry Cleaning, Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets, Wednesday, Horsegirl, Ratboys, Water From Your Eyes, a rare East Coast show from Seattle cult legends Young Fresh Fellows, Iris Dement, Hailu Mergia, Joanna Sternberg, Soul Glo, and more.
Solid Sound 2024 will also feature artist Steve Keene (Pavement, Silver Jews, Apples in Stereo) doing live painting throughout the weekend, John Hodgman will host the Comedy Cabaret, there will be a live taping of the Song Exploder podcast w/ Hrishikesh Hirway & Jeff Tweedy, Substack Pop-Up Interviews, and more.
