Joe Pera has announced his first-ever standup special, titled Slow & Steady, which he’s self releasing on October 8 via YouTube and his website. It was taped this spring in Brooklyn at Williamsburg’s Opera House and was self-funded as well. “It’s okay, it cost my savings, but we made a stand-up special just the way we wanted to,” Joe says. “I think it’s pretty good and hopefully people will laugh and say ‘that was a well-spent 56 minutes.’” Joe has more to say about the special in its trailer which you can watch below.
