Joni Mitchell has announced her first Los Angeles headlining show in over 24 years. It’s billed as “Joni Mitchell & The Joni Jam,” happening on Saturday, October 19 at Hollywood Bowl. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 2 at 10 AM PST, with various presales starting Wednesday, January 31 at 10 AM PST.
Brandi Carlile, who has been by Joni’s side throughout her return to the stage, will also join her at Hollywood Bowl. As to who else will appear in the “Joni Jam” backing band, stay tuned; at her 2023 show at WA’s The Gorge she was joined by Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, Wendy & Lisa, Blake Mills, Lucius, Alison Russell, Celisse Henderson, Marcus Mumford, and more.
The show announcement follows the news that Joni will be performing on the 2024 Grammys for the first time ever. She’s nominated for Best Folk Album for Joni Mitchell at Newport.
