Kathleen Hanna has launched a new collection of apparel. Her limited edition line, “Early Days,” features photography by Janette Beckman of Queen Latifah, Run-DMC, and Salt-N-Pepa; according to a press release, it “celebrates hip hop legends who give us the courage to go after our dreams and to seek out new beginnings.” See pictures below.
Pre-orders are open for two weeks, now through February 15 at 5 PM EST. The campaign’s goal is to donate $20,000 to Peace Sisters, a non-profit that supports girls’ education in Togo, West Africa, and which Kathleen is an ambassador for.
Kathleen’s new memoir, Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk, is out in May, and she’ll be on a book tour for it this spring, starting at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on May 14. Before that, she has some Bikini Kill shows in Mexico and South America, followed by UK dates in June.
