So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

THE SECRET SISTERS – “ALL THE WAYS” FT. RAY LAMONTAGNE
The Secret Sisters’ new album, Mind, Man, Medicine, is out in March, and they’ve shared the Ray LaMontagne-featuring new single “All The Ways.” “When we wrote this song, we didn’t know our fifth album would be partially recorded in our hometown area, at FAME studios,” Laura Rodgers and Lydia Slagle say. “But, perhaps subconsciously, we were channeling the legendary soul music that was captured just a few miles from our stomping grounds at the same studio many decades ago. This is a song that drinks from the well of Muscle Shoals. We were humbled and ecstatic to feature our longtime friend and inspiration, Ray LaMontagne, on this track.”

FEVER RAY – “SHIVER” (VIDEO)
Fever Ray videos are never dull and that goes double for the just-released one for “Shiver” from last year’s Radical Romantics. It was inspired by The Lovers of Valdaro, the pair of 6000 year-old human skeletons in Italy that were discovered “locked in an eternal embrace.” Says Karin Dreijer and director Martin Falck: “We fantasized about what might have happened to these two skeletons. Were they so in love they had their mouths and noses too close to each other, or couldn’t stop kissing so they died of carbon monoxide poisoning? Or did a dinosaur kill them, and they died in fear holding each other? Was it a volcano, and they were protecting themselves from the lava burning their flesh? Maybe they weren’t in love at all; perhaps they were lifelong enemies facing their final struggle strangling each other? We felt there was a beautiful story there about the struggles of falling in love and the vulnerability you might feel being ‘examined’ by your love interest who wants to make sure you really are the one they can trust and form a relationship with, that will last for eternity.”

ED HARCOURT – “INTO THE LOVING ARMS OF YOUR ENEMY”
UK singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt has shared another song from his upcoming album, El Magnifico. Ed describes it like this: “The art of seduction, the battle of courtship, an ancient trope that crosses all treacherous waters, the hang dog suitor attempting all manners of persuasion to no avail…Armed with a Roland CR-68 drum machine, a baby grand piano & everything else in between, he channels the three wise piano men, Joel, John & Newman, hoping this sonic missive might cajole the object of his desire into taking him seriously. But no, he’s still persona non grata, Don Quixote in a crumpled nudie suit, gimlet eyed & deranged, he slinks back under his desert rock & really, it’s for the best.”

I grew up on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina, and often went down to the ocean to commune with myself, a habit I picked up from my mother. It’s a reflection of that time of my life, and who I’ve become in the years since. I started writing about a simple relationship theme, but quickly realized I was examining myself and my own disillusionment with who I thought I would become, versus the person I am today.” Plunge is out March 22.

It’s just [“Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)”]. It’s almost the same cadence. But that’s fine. I’ve been compared to Title Fight for the past three years, so I’m fine with being compared.”) The feature is a good read, and “Ditch” is a good song.

THE DANDY WARHOLS – “I’D LIKE TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR PROBLEM” (FEAT. SLASH)

We wanted that kind of guitar playing on it, but we don’t have anyone in the band who can do it,” says Dandy Warhols’ frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor of their collab with Slash. “Once we began discussing it, it became apparent that there wasn’t really anyone else whose hands we could put it in, so thus the Hail Mary to try and get Slash to play on it…The first time we heard it back in our studio, we just stared at each other with our mouths open. What he played on the track is amazing. I’ve never heard him play quite like that, but what is so fascinating to me is that it is clearly him playing, as recognizable as a familiar human voice.”
