I followed the latte makeup trend because I saw it in my feed and I love it! I don’t know if I’d call this a new trend because it has a neutral everyday almost 90s vibe, but I like what everyone has to say. I also love that a lot of people choose lip colors with more pink in them, which makes it more fresh and modern (compared to the deep rose browns of the 90s).
I did a quick demo on Reels, which I’ll link below. I wear many of my long-time favorites!
Beauty Segmentation:
Also wanted to round up some other favorites in the unisex category as they are my everyday favorites.
skin color favorite
For skin tones, I really like using Too Faced Born This Way Healthy Glow Tint for my summer undertones. It has SPF 30, natural-to-medium coverage, evens out skin tone and blurs. Holds up well even in this wet weather!
I’m still a big fan of Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Drops and Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter for complexion enhancers. They give a really nice natural glow to the skin without being too heavy or looking overdone. Even after trying to find the liars, I still have to say that both are holy grail material.
The best eye brightening concealer is YSL Touche Eclat.
cheek/contour
For cheeks, I like a neutral blush with some peach tint. Laura Mercier Blush Color Infused Ginger and Fresco is probably the best neutral blush I own. They are neutral brown undertones but have a warm feel, so they are perfect for olive/blonde skin.
The Victoria Beckham Beauty Cheeky Posh blush stick works really well too. I love the neutral tan tone of Playground. The new VBB Contour Stick is also great for eyes or cheeks. I picked up Marble and loved it. It has neutral undertones, so it’s not too gray/cold and not too warm.
For very natural bronzer/contour creams, three of my recent recommendations are the new travel-sized Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream (I use the 390 and 392). The mini has a different formula than the original. This year’s travel-size version has a lightly matte finish that creates a blurring effect on the skin.
Getty’s Tower 28 Sculptino is another great cream bronzer, but without the shimmer. The Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzing Stick is the softest creamy stick I’ve tried without being too watery on the finish.
The brush I use for most cream products is the Hourglass Vanish Foundation Brush.

latte eye makeup favorite
For eyes, I don’t think it’s more classy than the Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Palette. It’s been in my top 5 for a long time and I still wear it every week. Natasha Denona’s mini nude palette is another favorite of mine, and I think it’s perfect for the latte makeup trend.
best neutral lips
And last but not least Neutral Lips – my favourite! I love almost every variation of neutral lips. These are some of my current favorites. In my Reel, I pair Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 in Terracotta with Pat McGrath LUST Gloss in True True.
Other favorites include Kosas Wet Lip Oil (shown in a perfect nude pink, but they have a ton of great neutrals). I also think the MAC At First lip kits in this year’s Nordstrom sale have great neutrals and I hope they perpetuate the rose memory.
