Les Claypool’s Frog Brigade have been touring for much of the year, playing Pink Floyd’s Animals in full along with other songs from the Claypool-verse. Their fall tour stopped in NYC on Sunday (10/22) at Brooklyn Steel, and in addition to Floyd, the band (which includes Sean Ono Lennon) were in an 2-Tone ska mood. Their opening set included covers of The (English) Beat’s “Mirror in the Bathroom” and Madness (by way of Prince Buster)’s “One Step Beyond.” They did solid versions of both.
