NYC’s Lip Critic signed to Partisan Records back in October, and now they’ve shared their second single for the label, “The Heart.” It’s a frenetically-paced dance-punk track with a blast of percussion from two drummers, and you can watch the strobe-heavy video, shot and edited by Aaron Fenichell, below.
Lip Critic have also announced their first-ever headlining tour, which begins on May 31 in Troy, NY and runs through June, wrapping up on June 27 in Boston. Ahead of that, they have a couple of dates with Smut, and play a few shows around their appearance at SXSW. See all dates below.
Before their tour begins, they’ll play a hometown NYC show at Elsewhere Zone One on February 22, which is with Prize, AFK, and DJ Yion. Tickets are on sale now. Their dates with Smut, meanwhile, include an Asbury Park, NJ show at Wonder Bar on March 9. Tickets to that one go on sale Friday, January 19 at 10 AM EST.
