‘Love Next Door’ is halfway through its epic run on tVN as the K-drama has just aired its eighth installment over the weekend. In the episode, it appears that the main characters’ ship has finally started sailing as Choi Seung-Hyo (Jung Hae-In) confesses his feelings to Bae-Seok-Ryu (Jung So-Min). As expected, fans can’t help but feel giddy over this development, only to be shocked by the revelation that Seok-Ryu had stomach cancer three years ago. Towards the end of the episode, she seemed to be experiencing symptoms of a relapse, and this may once again affect her relationship with Seung-Hyo.
