Electronic producer Machinedrum (Travis Stewart) has announced a new album, 3FOR82, which will be out via Ninja Tune on May 24, which is also his birthday. The album is his 11th and was made in Joshua Tree, CA. “I’ve been to Joshua Tree many times and I’ve always felt a great sense of clarity every time I visit,” Stewart says, “and I knew that I should, at some point in my life, go out there to work on something creatively.
3FOR82 features collaborations with Jesse Boykins III, KUČKA, Duckwrth, AKTHESAVIOR, Mick Jenkins, Ezri, Tanerélle, Deniro Farrar, Topaz Jones, deem spencer, aja monet, ROZET, Will Johnson, Ian Maciak, and on skittering first single “ZOOM,” Tinashe. Listen to that below.
Machinedrum will also be on tour this year, and the NYC show happens June 7 at Market Hotel. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 8 at 10 AM and all dates are below.
