Madi Diaz announces new LP ft. Kacey Musgraves, touring w/ My Morning Jacket (watch “Same Risk” video)

Nashville singer/sonwriter Madi Diaz has announced a new album, Weird Faith, due out February 9 via ANTI-. It’s the follow-up to 2021’s fantastic History of a Feeling, and she made it with co-producers Sam Cohen and Konrad Syder. Kacey Musgraves features on “Don’t Do Me Good,” and you can see the cover art and tracklist below.

“This record is about the beginning of love, and saying every feeling out loud, when I feel it, for better or worse because I can’t help it,” Madi says.

She’s shared the lead single and first track, “Same Risk,” where her brutal honesty shines through, along with her soaring voice. Watch the accompanying video, which she co-directed with Elizabeth Olmstead, below.

Madi will support My Morning Jacket on tour in North America this fall, including NYC shows at Beacon Theatre on October 19, 20, and 21. See all dates below.
