Mali Velasquez played Union Pool with Rom Com (pics)

Nashville singer/songwriter Mali Velasquez stopped in NYC on Tuesday night for a show at Union Pool, part of the venue’s Free Tuesdays winter show series. She and her band sounded great as they played songs from her very good 2023 debut LP, I’m Green, and Rom Com‘s opening set was their first official show. You can see pictures from the night below.

Mali, who recently told us about music she’s been listening to lately, has a Pittsburgh show on Thursday with Sadurn and Saint Agatha (2/15 at Bottlerocket Social Hall), followed by SXSW and shows supporting A. Savage of Parquet Courts. See all of her upcoming dates below.

Free Tuesdays continues through February at Union Pool, and next week (February 20) features J. Robbins and SAVAK. You can RSVP now (entrance is subject to capacity).
