THE MARS VOLTA
The Mars Volta have announced June tour dates leading up to their appearance at Bonnaroo, with stops in Des Moines, Madison, Indianapolis, Omaha, Columbus. Teri Gender Bender opens, and the band say these will be their only shows this year.
NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE
Neil Young and Crazy Horse will release new album FU##IN’ UP in April, in conjunction with an amphitheater tour.
ROBERT PLANT & ALISON KRAUSS
Plant and Krauss will tour the North American West Coast and Midwest this summer in continued support of their joint 2021 album Raise The Roof.
PEARL JAM
Having just announced their new album Dark Matter, Pearl Jam have now also announced a world tour supporting the album, including support from Deep Sea Diver on the first North American leg and Glen Hansard on the second.
COUNTING CROWS / SANTANA
Santana and Counting Crows are teaming up for the “Oneness Tour,” which kicks off June 14 in Hollywood, FL and runs through September 2 in Phoenix. NYC-area shows include Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on July 19 and Wantagh, NY’s Jones Beach on July 21.
THE CLIENTELE
The Clientele will be in the US in July for Merge Records’ 35th anniversary festival in North Carolina, and while they’re here they’ll play a few other shows.
NATION OF LANGUAGE
Nation of Language have added more dates to their 2024 tour schedule, specifically East Coast dates in late May and June surrounding Bonnaroo, including Boston, Richmond, DC, and Morgantown, WV. Their tour starts with three sold-out shows at Bowery Ballroom in March.
FOUR TET & FRIENDS FESTIVAL
Four Tet is putting on a mini-festival in Greenpoint this spring. He curated Four Tet & Friends, which happens Under the K Bridge on May 4 and 5, with Saturday running from 6 PM-2 AM and Sunday from 1 PM-9 PM. Four Tet will spin both days, and the lineup also includes Daphne x Floating Points, Laurel Halo and more.
JON STEWART
Jon Stewart is officially back at The Daily Show as host on Mondays and has a few new stand-up dates announced too.
THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS
TMBG will be out on “THE BIG SHOW” US tour this spring, hitting cities across the Midwest, with most getting at least two nights.
JESSICA PRATT
Jessica Pratt has announced her fourth album, Here in the Pitch, due May 3 via Mexican Summer, along with an accompanying tour.
HAVE HEART
Have Heart just announced five reunion shows, three of which are hardcore festivals.
TIED DOWN 2024
One of those hardcore festivals Have Heart are playing is Detroit’s Tied Down, which also has Weekend Nachos, Twitching Tongues, Drain, Youth of Today, Terror, No Pressure, Killing Time, 100 Demons, Angel Du$t, and lots more.
SOUND AND FURY 2024
L.A.’s Sound and Fury also has Have Heart, along with Weekend Nachos, Twitching Tongues, Anxious, Chat Pile, and more.
THE HOPE CONSPIRACY OPENERS (UMBRA VITAE, THIS IS HELL, MORE)
The Hope Conspiracy have announced openers for their upcoming reunion shows: Umbra Vitae, COA, and New Lows opening in Cambridge; Umbra Vitae, This Is Hell, and Staticlone opening in Brooklyn, and Umbra Vitae, Scarab, and Staticlone opening in Philly. More info and tickets here.
TIBET HOUSE BENEFIT
Jlin has been added to the lineup of the 2024 Tibet House Benefit at NYC’s Carnegie Hall on February 26. The lineup also includes Laurie Anderson, Joan Baez, Maggie Rogers, Maya Hawke, Bowen Yang, Gogol Bordello, and more.
FOOL IN LOVE FEST
Los Angeles festival Fool In Love has announced its inaugural edition, happening on August 31 at Hollywood Park, on the grounds adjacent to SoFi Stadium. Lionel Richie and Diana Ross headline the classic pop, soul, and R&B-focused fest, and the lineup also features Nile Rodgers & Chic, Al Green, Santana, Smokey Robinson, and more.
TED LEO + THE PHARMACISTS
Ted Leo and the Pharmacists will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic fourth album, 2004’s Shake The Sheets, on tour this summer and fall.
LOCAL NATIVES
Local Natives have announced a summer tour which kicks off at Redondo Beach, CA’s Beachlife Festival on May 4 and includes stops in Oklahoma City, Louisville, Omaha, Kansas City, Boulder, Las Vegas, Tucson, and more.
MEATBODIES
Meatbodies have added more dates to their spring tour supporting their upcoming album Flora Ocean Tiger Bloom. New stops include San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Reno, Portland, Denver, Detroit and more. The tour hits NYC on April 27 at Market Hotel.
MARSHALL SXSW 2024 PARTIES
Marshall has announced the initial lineup for their 2024 SXSW party, Marshall Funhouse. It runs from March 13-15 at the Parish (501 Brushy St, Austin, TX), and you can see the lineup so far here.
VIAL
VIAL have shared the final single off their anticipated third album burnout, and they’ve also announced a headlining tour, with support from Sunday Cruise, Boy Jr, and Rain On Fridays.
CALEB LANDRY JONES
Musician and actor Caleb Landry Jones will release a new album, Hey Gary, Hey Dawn, which will be out April 5 via Sacred Bones. He’s also announced shows in Austin, NYC and L.A.
1349 / SPECTRAL WOUND / ANTICHRIST SIEGE MACHINE / SPIRIT POSSESSION
Long-running Norwegian black metal band 1349 have announced a North American headlining tour surrounding Maryland Deathfest with support from makers of two of the best recent black metal albums, Spectral Wound and Spirit Possession, plus Richmond war metallers Antichrist Siege Machine. The tour hits Brooklyn on May 23 at The Meadows.
BOUNDARIES / ORTHODOX / KAONASHI / NO CURE
Boundaries have announced their first-ever US headlining tour, and it’s a pretty amazing lineup for metalcore / post-hardcore fans with Orthodox, Kaonashi, and No Cure.
POKEY LAFARGE
Pokey LaFarge’s new album, Rhumba Country, will be out May 10 via New West Records and he’ll be on tour starting in May.
THE WIND-UPS / LES LULLIES
California punk-power-pop group The Wind-Ups and French glam-punks Les Lullies each have their own North American tours, but are playing NYC together.
